    1. Identify potential trouble spots in foreign sourcing agreements and how they may violate U.S. federal export controls.

    2. Evaluate and manage the benefits vs. risks of foreign sourcing in support of U.S. federal contracts.

    3. Manage the expectations for export control oversight in the prime and subcontractor relationship and build consensus into the subcontract.

 

Abstract:

U.S. federal prime and subcontractors utilizing international sources of supply must be aware of the extensive export controls governing the flow of domestic and foreign products and information. This session will help to identify and manage these risks.

Previously, he worked for the Department of Defense and the U.S. State Department.
